(no subject)

In my effort to leave no Hugh behind, I finally watched Durham County. Which is...holy crap that's dark. And twisted. And disturbing. I'm also vidding it. And not a little horrified at myself that I am, because when you are making decisions on whether or not to include clips of implied necrophilia in your vid, something has gone terribly wrong. But it's so visually stunning, and the story itself so sickly compelling, that my brain insists on working through it in vid form. Which got me to open FCP for the first time in over a month. I'm...gonna need some serious hugs and kittens after this. On the upside Hugh Dillon is absolutely brilliant in it, and yes, I realize I'm inclined to give him a pass for merely showing up on my tv, but that's aside from all that. He's really good in this, twisted and sick though it is.
