I am so tired. Familypalooza is nearly over, dropped my kid off at the airport this morning. Only some minor facetime with my father and stepmother over the next week required. Just in time for the yearly pre-Vividcon freakout! I kinda wish that even spending time with people I love wasn't so exhausting, but it is.
I'm completely behind on my f'list, so I kind of have no clue what's going on with all of y'all.
I just want to sleep for a week.
But, I finally got the treadmill that was passed along to me from a friend of the family set up. So now I can work on maybe getting back some stamina/strength. Exercise and me have a weird relationship in that I know if I can just keep it up it will make the pain issues less, but it hurts to do it and I am a three year old so the long term rewards don't stack up against the 'but it hurts more now, right this second if I do this'. I am hoping that being able to watch TV while I walk will help soothe my inner brat.
Gonna pick back up with season 2 of Vampire Diaries as soon as I can focus.
Lastly, a moment of random nostalgic OMFG. Was picking up prescriptions today and decided to look at the bargain bins of DVDs and whatnot. And there was Robotech (The Macross Saga). Dude. You guys. I basically scheduled my entire after school activities around Robotech when I was 11/12 years old. I was obsessed with it, for reals, and I haven't seen it since then. I could not actually afford to pick up the set today, but it was a CLOSE THING. I am also more than a little scared that it will not live up to my adolescent memory of it. This was probably more the deciding factor in picking it up than 'you still have to buy groceries', though I will probably be grateful when I'm not eating crackers for dinner later.
