And since you've seen the cow, I present to you now....The Barn. My stepmother took an absolutely gorgeous picture of it at sunrise and looking at it makes me temporarily forget about the part where living in it means sawdust everywhere. And, for the heck of it, we also have a photo of my temporary digs parked inside the barn (with bonus Spot the dog).

Really pretty! However, right after I posted this I tried to go to the store and ended up sliding backwards down the grade when I got to the front gate and got myself wedged between a tree (in back) and too much ice for traction (front)...and then I realized I forgot my cellphone so I had to walk all the way back to the main house for help. Which is a half mile from the gate.

At this moment I am HATING ON NATURE.

Staying warm is my top priority! Barn is pretty but it gets coooooooold. Thankfully the bathroom is heated, and I have a space heater for the RV.

There is a LOT of space (90 acres total), and a LOT of trees. The tradeoff is being in the middle of nowhere.

Ten minutes to drive to the nearest small store, and going into town is a whole thing. I am getting used to it, but having lived in major suburbs or cities all my life it is...odd.
