GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK!!! Though I suppose that isn’t true as of a few hours ago cause I finished doing mostly everything and got the platinum trophy (there’s a few other small post game bits I’m not sure I’ll go after).

I was playing The Entropy Centre before GOW released and I still want to go back and finish it so that’s probably what I will do, it’s extremely fun and if you are a Portal fan I highly recommend because it’s basically Portal with some cool differences in puzzle mechanics (there’s a time rewind instead of portals).

Also on my list are Return to Monkey Island and Pentiment since they both hit Gamepass this month.

I've been told I should play God of War (2018) before playing God Of War Ragnarok. I have a giant pile of games to get through though so that'll take me a bit!

If The Entropy Centre is first-person like Portal, it's probably not gonna be my thing unfortunately. I get motion sickness with anything first-person or close to it. Like I actually dislike the parts where you play as Peter Parker or Miles Morales or Mary Jane in Spider-Man because the camera shifts just enough to make it uncomfortable. Or, oh God, all the first-person Desmond Miles bits in AC:R. That was the worst.

Can I horn in on the videogaming talk and say, thanks fan_eunice for mentioning Horizon Zero Dawn a lot, because that encouraged me to try Horizon Zero Dawn, and I loooooooooooved iiiiiiiiiiit. I loved it so much that, uh, I am actually perennially paused right before the big final battle, because after that battle the game will be over?

(Also I admit because the big final battle kind of shoehorns me into fighting one particular way, instead of my preferred way, which is to sneak around and snipe from a distance whenever possible or else I Die...)

I'm glad to hear about The Entropy Centre! Although I do need to be increasingly careful about motion sickness with some first-person things, as rhoboat mentions. I started Subnautica: Below Zero recently, and it seems to have the 'occasional unexpected motion sickness' thing that the first one did. Although the first one was still manageable, in short sittings, and sometimes didn't bug me at all! In short: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Definitely GOW 2018 first. There’s a whole lot of emotional build up in the first game that the second game pulls from so I don’t think it would hit as hard without it even though there is a recap. They both have a very close over the shoulder camera though, idk if it would set off your motion sickness but I believe 2018 is free in the games collection for ps5 so you should be able to try it and see without having to commit when your backlog eases.

❤️❤️❤️ Horizon Zero Dawn is one of my favorite games ever so this makes me so so happy! But like if you finish it that means you get to play Horizon Forbidden West and get countless MORE hours with Aloy and her friends!

I totally get what you mean about the final battle though, I am absolutely a hide in the bushes and silent strike kinda gal whenever a game lets me, I believe that battle is one that I run around like a chicken with my head cut off and mash buttons and hope for the best until I win by accident.
