Oh
The RSC has confirmed that Tennant will be playing Hamlet from July to November, 2008. While there's still the possibility this means he's not leaving Doctor Who, I'm thinking...yeah, he almost certainly is. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. Well, actually I do know. I also know how I want to feel about it.
I pretty much have two fandoms that are currently intertwined right now, which makes things mighty convenient for me. There's Doctor Who, which is so much more than Ten to me. I am madly in love with the entire universe, and in that universe Doctors regenerate and companions leave. That's just the way it is and I have every intention of enthusiastically embracing Eleven 'cause the Doctor is the Doctor is the Doctor is the Doctor and I love him dammit.
I have also developed my insanely obsessive, and not at all appropriate for a lesbian, crush on David Tennant, which is not dependent on his presence in Doctor Who. I have pretty much cleared my calendar to watch anything he's in, ever, and seriously...the boy works hard. Aside from the whole being on stage all the way the on the other side of the ocean from me (bastard) I really don't think he's going to dissapear or that I won't have many, many chances to earn myself a restraining order in the future. Also, this is potentially VERY awesome for his career in general and may end up generating more stalking opportunities (yes, his choices *are* all about me, thank you very much)
I should not be upset at all right now. Okay, this is going to require a bit more work on my part, what with them not being in the same place anymore, but it's not like I'm losing either of them. I'm not. I plan on telling myself that repeatedly until I'm no longer making sad emo faces.
Hug me?
