(Also I admit because the big final battle kind of shoehorns me into fighting one particular way, instead of my preferred way, which is to sneak around and snipe from a distance whenever possible or else I Die...)
I'm glad to hear about The Entropy Centre! Although I do need to be increasingly careful about motion sickness with some first-person things, as

I totally get what you mean about the final battle though, I am absolutely a hide in the bushes and silent strike kinda gal whenever a game lets me, I believe that battle is one that I run around like a chicken with my head cut off and mash buttons and hope for the best until I win by accident.

Occasionally the Behemoth would knock me off my perch, but before it could run around behind the rock face to find where I fell and stomple me to death, I'd climb back up and squeeeeze into the awkward spot.

Horizon Zero Dawn is one of my favorite games ever. Having just finished Breath of the Wild recently which was almost across the board GOTY the same year HZD came out, I personally would place HZD over BOTW. I did like BOTW but I didn't have the same intense feelings with the characters.
I'm excited to make my way through HFW now.

But I love them in such different ways! I got attached to Eloy and her context and emotions and life as a person, in ways I totally didn't with Link, even with the flashbacks to the various Champions. So my BOTW enjoyment was much more about the sense of openness and freedom, creativity/weirdness in the game mechanics, puzzle solving, etc., and not about people and feelings.

Instead, I like to start over and run around in my underwears, and when I'm extremely advanced and have all the divine beasts on my side, and could theoretically fight ganon, instead I throw myself into the DLCs, and also into obsessive completionist things like finding more korok seeds.
