There was some ginormous fight in the desert northwest area, where I admit I found a spot crammed behind/between a couple of rock columns where the monster couldn't quite hit me, or at least not for actual damage, but I had just enough of a gap to fire arrows through.

Occasionally the Behemoth would knock me off my perch, but before it could run around behind the rock face to find where I fell and stomple me to death, I'd climb back up and squeeeeze into the awkward spot.

I think hiding behind a rock is a VERY appropriate reaction to some of the robot dinos. I’m pretty sure I yelled ‘absolutely the fuck NOT’ out loud the first time I saw a thunderjaw.
