The alligator in All Dogs Go To Heaven scared me as a kid (I think bits of it did in general), but I love the movie now :p. It gets me in feely places and so does this!

Yeah, it didn't come out until I was older so I didn't see it when I was little, but had I seen it as a wee one I am pretty sure the hell sequences alone would have given me nightmares for months.

On a happier note, I love that you picked this song. Even aside from the lyrics, I'm weirdly fascinated seeing 90s-animation (80s animation?) cut to it. And now that I've said that I can't even figure out why.

Song choice was surprisingly easy, though I'm not sure why. I knew it was the song I wanted immediately after rewatching the movie, which is weird for me because usually I spend a lot of time dithering on song choice and making other people pick for me :).

thank you so much for this video! i loved the movie to death as a kid (and annoyed my siblings a lot with it (i think they found the style a bit to "dirty" and annemaries and charlies relationship too cheesy) the ending always made me cry.
i love how you start the video with charlie being run over by the car. what a hell of a way to start a video. i love how the beginning has this rushed feeling with him dying and the intercuts of gambling/drinking - the motivs of forward motion in all of that. highway to hell like.
this video made me smile and awww. and sing along - so thanks for all that.
