Only one more round of chemo to go, which would be exciting if I wasn't continuing to pretty much fall apart as it gets nearer. What the hell brain?!? This is a good thing.
I am watching Supernatural again, though it remains to be seen if I'll feel the need to post on it. Mostly it's nice that when the flood of post-episode thinkies and squee hits my f'list I'll actually know what's going on.
Guitar Hero 5! I'm not entirely happy with the new interface and Career stuff, but lots of fun songs to play so I'm staying in quickplay where I can just rock out.
Rock Band. I've pretty much avoided Rock Band since I got one of the track packs and a guitar that was supposed to work with both GH and RB, but then it was kind of wonky, and I really didn't like the way Rock Band was laid out enough to care about getting a better guitar for it. But then? Someone in marketing went "Hey, I know how we'll get Eunice. BEATLES EDITION" which...they did. So I shelled out for an official Rock Band guitar along with the game and have been happily playing my way through. Yes, I am as dorky as you think I am when playing Yellow Submarine. No. Dorkier.
My big complaint with it is that, although the official guitar actually works (yay), um...the strum bar does not make a clicky sound. I need my clicky sound, you guys. It's how I know if my rhythm is completely fucked and get it back on track. I'm starting to get used to the lack of clicky, but my scores are way lower than they should be, and I failed out of a few sections that I know I should be able to do easily before adapting.
So, yeah, um...not very exciting, me. And so far behind on LJ and email that I may never catch up. Miss you guys. *hugs*
