Am I seriously going to post thoughts on a Lifetime movie? Why yes, yes I am. Do I need a spoiler cut? I should put a spoiler cut, more to let y'all skip right past this entry than anything else.

brief thoughts on my night with Lifetime )

Via, [livejournal.com profile] nnwest it appears that Hugh Dillon (and CKR if you are like most people and obsessing about the wrong Canadian...um...I mean, if you like him and all) will be in a tv movie on Saturday. On Lifetime. I need to repeat that. On Lifetime. Y'all...it's like a little present just for me. You know it's going to be awful. But I have a secret shame. Sometimes? I love the gloriously bad Lifetime movies, oh yes I do. There are days when nothing is more satisfying than a marathon cheesfest of melodramatic crap. So this is a twofer. Settling down on the couch to watch a cheesy bad made for TV movieand a chance to flail at Hugh on my TV. The universe is conspiring to keep my lifting mood lifting, I think.

*sets reminder on the tv while laughing ass off* on Lifetime, y'all. Oh, it's going to be glorious.

I was telling Zen how my mornings have improved since my routine has gone from "coffee and smoke' to 'coffee, smoke, and Hugh on the iTunes' and she shared this icon with me OMG. Look! All three! In icon form! *makes happy flaily noises*

I am still woefully behind on everything fannishly, but I am starting to pull out of the nosedive in general just a bit. My house is getting closer to clean and I'm eyeing the backlog of stuff to watch with something approaching enthusiasm. Yesterday I actually left the house and made it to brunch for the first time in weeks where I got to see my Chicago people, along with bonus [livejournal.com profile] jarrow, who, I swear, somehow manages to get more adorable every time I see him.

And I have plans this week to park on Zen's couch for watching of stuff (Sarah Jane Adventures YAY!), and playing video games. It will be awesome. I am starting to slowly feel a bit more like diving back into Who. We've been on a bit of a break since the end of this last season, for many reasons, not the least of which is how bugfuck the fandom can be. But I do miss squeeing about my Tennant, and overwhelming love for the entire series. I've still got a bunch of unfinished vids I haven't touched in...wow. Aside from a few days post Vividcon I haven't opened FCP at all in months. But I do want to finish the Seven and Ace vid at some point. I keep meaning to make a point of bumping it to the top of the list, so I should really actually do that. If that doesn't bring my squee back full force, I'm not sure what would. :)

*hugs to you all*

In conclusion, Hugh Dillon. Shut up.

Okay, so I still have pretty much nothing to say, and the only thing coming close to engaging me remains Hugh Dillon. But I still want to talk to you guys. So, um, hi! Do you love Hugh Dillon? Tell me why! Do you not love Hugh Dillon? You can tell me why too, and I swear I won't defriend you. Do you just not care about Hugh Dillon? Tell me about that. And most importantly, which do you prefer...the spiky hair, the mohawk, or the current shaved head look? And if David Tennant and Hugh Dillon were in the same room and you were making bets on how long it would take Eunice's head to explode, where would you be putting your money down?

This month sort of sucks. I'm still having a hard time with the actually interacting with other people or getting done anything I need to get done. Mostly I've been just sort of drifting through days staring blankly, the tv might be on but I'm not really watching, I can't focus long enough to play the Wii most of the time, and my house is an absolute disaster. I hate when I do this. It kind of scares me. I hate that I don't have any real fannish focus right now that might act as a distraction, or any real motivation to be creative at all. The best I've got right now is a continuing fascination with Hugh Dillon, and bless Zen for uploading all of the Headstones for me this morning to load up in my iTunes for obsessive listening. At least I have good music to accompany my wallowing.

What are y'all up to?
