This is one of those things...I just...I always believed it, but I never thought I'd get it. AND THERE IT IS, OMG.
And while there are many things that made me tear up and flail and whatever during this episode, what gets me, what GETS ME RIGHT IN THE HEART...is that that the Doctor will never be alone. Not ever. That is the gift of this episode above all else to me. HE IS NOT ALONE.
Which, again, yes, subtext and fanon beliefs and all that. But now he KNOWS it and we know it. NOT ALONE. ::FLAILS REALLY HARD AT YOU AND BURSTS INTO TEARS AGAIN::
