YES, YOU MAY. In fact I think Eleven would insist on it. Because he is not about leaving anyone behind. I think it's probably good more people and aliens have not expressed an interest in coming with him, because he would not be able to say no. I bet he picks up strays too.
And now I want a small adorable furry animal (of earth or other origin) to wander into the TARDIS, because it would give the Doctor the big sad eyes and he'd probably be grumpy at it *while* he was fixing it a treat and giving it a comforting scratch behind the ear, and like, building it a comfy little pet bed *while* grumbling about how he was totally going to find a new home for it...soon. Tomorrow. Next week tops. And really if he hasn't found a proper home for it in a year that's not really his fault.
