OH MY GOD. You guys. So I'm scrubbing for vid. And how did I miss this the first time out because HOLY SHIT. In the hall outside Mac's apartment sitting decoratively? A vase. With both white and red roses in it. Outside Mac's apartment. Like, odds on he had to have put it there. Gee, I wonder why Mac would want to have the symbolic representation of his love for Li Ann mixed with a symbolic representation of Victor's in the same vase...outside his apartment.

Oh, Mac.

It's sort of random? In the episode where Mac's biological dad shows up and Mac comes home to find him.

But...yeah. I about fell on the floor.

I find it interesting that Mac has almost no use for his "real" dad, but is so fiercely loyal to his adopted dad. Especially since only the latter one is trying to kill him.

It makes sense if you live in Mac's head, I think. Daddy Tang putting a price on his head shows he cares that Mac betrayed and left him. His real dad didn't even look for him when he was a runaway kid on the streets of Hong Kong. The opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference, and I think Mac felt both the love/hate of his adoptive father and the indifference of his 'real' one keenly.

Poor bunny. I CUDDLE HIM.

Which then maps to Vic, who punches him and snarks at him and throws a stag party to mock his terrible decisions. This is also family.

Wow. Mac is so very fucked up.
