PET scan done, so now we're back to hurry up and wait. The tech told me my GP was wrong, and that the PET scan is actually very reliable in distinguishing what's a tumor and what's not, so I will most likely get some pretty definitive answers on Monday.
The test itself is as boring as an MRI but a lot quieter. Made more boring by the part where they inject you with stuff and make you wait quietly for an hour before the scan. Radioactive stuff. I wasn't sure whether to make my horrified or my OMFGCOOL face when they brought in my injection in a lead box covered with bright yellow radioactive stickers. I, myself, will be radioactive for the next ten hours.
*waits patiently to develop superpower*
Failing superpowers, I sort of wish I had a friend with a geiger counter, because I would find it hilarious to point one at myself and watch it register. It's the little things that make me happy.
