And OMG, I need to pause for a moment to wave my hands and kick my feet in pure glee at just typing that because of how awesome this is. How awesome you are for doing this. I love you festividder. I love you a lot.
You'll notice I did not put any details (save one) in my request form. That's because the first (and most important) thing you should know about me is that I am ridiculously easy to please. Any vid for any of these fandoms would bring me massive amounts of joy, so if you've already got an idea, go wherever it takes you and be assured that you've already made me happy enough that I'd consider naming my next child after you if I were planning on having more kids. You can't go wrong. Really.

Facts of Life: Once upon a time when I was a much younger Eunice, Jo made me gay. Then she made Blair gay. And then they were very, very gay together. This made me SO HAPPY, festividder. A peppy, upbeat vid about the Big Gay Love of Jo and Blair would pretty much make my life, and the life of my inner baby dyke.
China Beach: Oh my god this show was amazing, and to this day it makes my top five favorite tv shows EVER list. I'm going to be just about useless in providing further direction here because I love everyone on it so hard that I can't even narrow (one of the reasons I've never vid it myself so far). Perhaps an ensemble vid? Oh! That would be awesome. An ensemble vid highlighting the ways the connections between everyone get them through the day? Or just pick a character, any character and run. This is a fandom that I would expect a vid to run more to the serious/dark side, obviously, but I would really like some hope mixed in with the angst.
Muppet Movie: For the longest time I had the Muppet Show theme song as my ringtone. I still would, except that phone broke and I haven't found it again for download. I find this TRAGIC. Which is to say, I love the Muppets like woah, and I love the Muppet Movie like I love my childhood blanky my Nonna made for me and sometimes I still pull it out and sleep with it, because childhood friends are the best. Something silly and fun and full of joy...though I'm not sure how it could be anything else. But, yeah. Affectionate cuddly looooooove.
Die Hard: Did you hear? John McClane KICKS ASS. And shit blows up. It blows up a lot. I like it when shit blows up. I actually made my kid marathon all four movies because I feel it would be neglectful parenting if he didn't know what to say should he ever be fighting terrorists while barefoot. Ass kicking and shit blowing up to a hard driving beat, really, that's all that I require here. Any or all of the four movies will do. Though if you use the fourth one, remember when there was a face off between a jet fighter and a semi truck? For a brief shining moment, my life was complete. If you include this in a vid I might die on the spot because there would be nowhere to go but down from there.
The Wire: Oh boy, I know this source is intimidating in it's complexity and denseness, and much like China Beach the reason I've never vidded it is because I stop and look at it and think WHY CANT I VID EVERYTHING? Which is why I'm making you do it, so I don't have to make those kinds of choices. And now that I'm thinking about it though, you know what might make an absolutely heartbreaking and beautiful vid...the cost of drugs and the drug war in human terms through Bubbles eyes. He always broke my heart the most, and, yeah...if you wanna make me cry that would do it. That's just one suggestion, seriously anything Wire will please me.
Homicide: I love Timmy. Tim Bayliss is one of my favorite characters ever in the creation of ever and would I object to a Tim vid? NO I WOULD NOT. I would love it and hug it and beg it not to pick up that phone lest it end up haunted by dead little girls for seven years. However, of the (tragically) few existing Homicide vids I think they are all in some way Tim centric...so it might be nice to have a vid focused on either the ensemble or another character. The world could use a Kay Howard vid, or a Meldrick vid, or a Munch vid, or a Bolander vid or...well, you get the picture. I do like to pretend that most of season 7 never happened, although there is plenty to mine from visually so I leave it up to you whether or not to include it.
Psych: Gus is adorable. How adorable? When puppies and kittens pass him on the street they stop and go AWWWWWWWWWWW. When together with Shawn (as either BFFs or boyfriends, whichever) they threaten to suck up all the cuteness in the world until there is none leftover, not even enough for cat macros. I am about as deep as a puddle regarding this show. The adorableness of Gus is more than enough to keep me well pleased and entertained for any vid.
Leverage: If ever a show was made for an ensemble vid, this one was. Crime is fun! Crime in the service of a greater justice is fun and satisfying. In terms of characters and ships and stuff...well, I OT3 Parker/Hardison/Eliot, though I get that vidding an OT3 is hard. Parker or Hardison as a character based vid would rock hard, or Parker/Hardison.
And there you go festividder. Now, feel free to ignore any of that. Except for Jo and Blair's Big Gay Love, which is EPIC and undeniable. As far as music goes, there's very little I don't like genre wise and even less I can't be convinced by in a vid. sisabet or heresluck or vagabondage music libraries, so I'm a bit useless in making specific suggestions. I suppose if there's anything I can say for sure I don't like it's overly sappy OTP/soulmate type songs...not even for Jo/Blair (their love is too snarky for that, just how I like it).
