I'm up early, with my coffee wading back into festivids because omfg you guys. 74 vids. And so far? I am unbelievably impressed by what's happened here. There's so much talent, so much love for these sources, so much variety from the adorable and fun to the gut wrenching heartbreak. If you're not browsing through these vids, you are missing out. No lie.
I wanted to go through and comment on all of them because what this community has pulled off is just freaking amazing, and every single person who signed up deserves props. And then I realized if I did that it would give me away when, y'know, the vid I made was the only one I didn't comment on. I have just in the last ten minutes realized...hey dumbass, you can comment on your own vid too and sidestep that. So. My goal for today is to do just that. Comment. And pull together at least one rec list to post here (possibly more than one, because seriously)
Also, it was pointed out in festichat last night that in addition to my two Die Hard vids there are two more Die Hard vids (that are awesome y'all), plus two Fifth Element vids. Which I'm pretty sure makes Bruce Willis the unofficial mascot of Festivids. Tagline for next year: YippeekiVID motherfucker! What?
