OMG, YES. It was so beautiful and sad and hopeful all at once, and OMG, I forgot this show could make me feel like this.

Mercy. The solution to the unsolvable problem of what horrors we humans can get up to was mercy. And not a show at offering it to be rejected so that righteous destruction can reign down, but a gift freely given and accepted.
