I'm excited about Vividcon, 'cause...VIDS, and MY PEOPLE, and HUGGING, and if you've ever been to Vividcon you know how awesome it is. But I'm also kinda bummed because the not bouncing back continues to...not bounce, which means my ability to participate as much as I'd like is in question. And worried, 'cause I don't want to be a big old downer at the best party evah, and listless, slumping, bald cancer girl isn't exactly a signpost of fun, ya know? And I miss silly fannish fun. All I do latley is whine and get sick a lot. Blech.
And now I just squee, because OMFGVVC, and it just really hit me that at this time next week I WILL BE THERE OMG so why the heck am I whining? If we have not met, please say hi! I am easy to recognize, and welcome all hugs. How to recognize me? It's easy.
1.) I'm the bald one. If you have not met either Zen or I and are confused by her shaved head, remember that I am the one who does not have tattoos, wears glasses, and is without eyebrows. You should also totally say hi to Zen when you see her, 'cause she's awesome.
2.) I will almost certainly be wearing big goofy dog slippers, which are hard to miss. As of last year these became my official Vividcon footwear thanks to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sisabet, and aside from Club Vivid they do not leave my feet.
3.) My Vividcon badge is bedazzled. I know they give out new ones every year, but I'm breaking out the one I tricked out last year for the bling factor. No need to even check the nametag! If it sparkles? It's me. Also, a Teeny Tiny Tennant will be riding in the pocket. He digs Vividcon a lot ever since that one year he rode a llama and hooked up with Beyonce...or was it the other way around? Um...anyway.
So, yes, GLOWSTICKS AHOY!!!!
