Because I am bored and have insomnia and have nothing fannish to post on account of being behind on everything and can't really talk about my festivid without revealing what I'm working on and did I mention I'm bored? So for those of you awake I give you...a picture of the cow. Say hello to Chuck! Yes, I know he's actually a steer, and those of you with actual farm experience are pointing and laughing, but no matter how often I attempt to correct myself my brain still goes COW every time I see him. When we aren't accidentally startling the shit out of each other he makes a pretty good neighbor, though I am not making friends on account of the bit where someday he will also make a pretty good steak.

And since you've seen the cow, I present to you now....The Barn. My stepmother took an absolutely gorgeous picture of it at sunrise and looking at it makes me temporarily forget about the part where living in it means sawdust everywhere. And, for the heck of it, we also have a photo of my temporary digs parked inside the barn (with bonus Spot the dog).
