I have internet now! At my house! Sadly, I think the speed issue isn't going to get much better, even though we're going to call Qwest this week. The IT guy who hooked up my house yesterday (he works for the contractor not Qwest) told me that because we are so far from the main road, and then even further from the main junctions and whatnot that we're just not going to get a strong signal out here no matter what. I suppose I will just have to learn to be patient...set my downloads to go overnight and whatnot.
Still watching Once A Theif...massive crush on Mac is getting ridiculous at this point. Like I am five seconds from buying a notebook just so I can write his name all over it surrounded by hearts. Also, even though I have a project file and timeline all set up, I have yet to find just the right song...so if you are listening to your iTunes and a song comes on that makes you think it is a perfect fit for an OT3 vid from Mac's POV, please share.
And now that I'm back fully in internet land, I continue with the vidmeme and day 2!
Day 2 – Name the fandoms you've vidded in, and how many vids you've made in that fandom, and if you still vid in it.
Huh, it occurs to me listing these that I do a lot of one and done movie vidding. And that with the exception of Doctor Who (and even there a big chunk of them are the Eleventy Project which was really one thing in many parts), I don't really do a whole lot of multiple vids within a single fandom either. I think a lot of times I have one specific aspect/character/idea that I have something to say about, and not a lot of motivation to continue vidding a source once I've said it. Not that I stop watching or loving or talking about...but that urgency to create goes way down. And also that for vidding as long as I have been, I haven't really made all that many vids. Part of that is being slow, but I do think it is also related to the 'one and done' mindset I seem to have about my sources.
