Much better mood. My day yesterday was made infinitely better by a visit from [personal profile] mresundance, who brought my a cozy blue blanket and talked fannish stuff with me and it was awesome. \o/ \o/ (btw, dude, my family is all enamored of you too, so I think you are on the hook for that dinner with all of us at some point *g*) Finally got to go to my brother's restaurant for the first time since it opened, and the food is fantastic. Today I went to my niece's soccer game and if there is anything more adorable than six year old kids playing soccer I'm not sure what it is. My nephew has just started reading Harry Potter for the first time and decided that he should read it to me, which is awesome. And then there was mail with awesome tv to watch courtesy of [personal profile] renenet and [personal profile] sisabet.

All of which has put me in a much better place. I'm not thrilled about the scans, but I'm not gonna dwell either. It is what it is either way and there isn't exactly anything I can do about it.

Oh! And I have been told I have been neglectful in not informing y'all that I live in a scenic forest of aspens with a meadow or something. It really is very pretty. I'd gush more about how gorgeous it is but right when I was starting to warm to this whole 'nature everywhere' thing, this morning I was informed of a bear sighting on the north end of the property. BEARS. There are literal bears as my neighbors. Did I mention bears?

Growing up I was never allowed to go where the best raspberry bushes were out on our property because that was where the bears hung out.

Your nephew reading Harry Potter to you is in fact COMPLETELY adorable and awesome.
