Today I hate the medical profession. Bleh.

This morning was the dentist. I got the all clear aside from some very minor, could be a problem in the future decay right before I started chemo. I was told to definitely go back to the dentist after treatment, on account of chemo can fuck with your mouth. I'm only two years late making that appointment, what?

Turns out the prediction was right. Dammit. Oh, my chewing surfaces are rock stars. The maybe a problem later decay on the upper part of some teeth is still minor and not particularly noteworthy. I have, however, developed some kind of deep pocket thingies under the gumline that are causing bone loss. I am assured nothing I could have done would have prevented it, but if not treated my teeth will actually start *falling out of my head* in about three to five years. So, four sessions between one and two hours each in the chair having my gums dug under and scaled down are on the table. WHAT A FUN SUMMER I SHALL HAVE.

And I still have the oncologist appointment to go this afternoon, where I am pretty sure I get to have a super fun scan ordered since the hip thing hasn't resolved properly (though I am still firmly on team bursitis, and refusing to worry it too hard...the scanxiety panic attacks are quite enough to deal with on their own without borrowing trouble about the results).

Am currently looking on the web for the manufacturer of this body, because clearly I got a lemon and would like to trade it in.
