So that went about as expected. Oncologist is also pretty firmly on team bursitis (yay!), however since I've passed the two week mark on pain of new origins the cancer rules say proceed to bone scan, do not pass go. He did look really sympathetic when he said 'I wouldn't advise it' to me asking if we could wait on the scan, and then reassured me that did not mean he wasn't really on team bursitis, just that probably not is apparently not good enough in cancer world. Phooey.
