Spamming tonight, because niece! I love this kid. And, okay, tonight she wanted to watch Buffy (she's allowed the first season and selected episodes from the rest of the run). And...y'know, I don't necessarily think feminist critiques of Joss are entirely wrong. But. But. So we're watching and niece is going on and on about Buffy. And nephew starts to ask if there are any boy slayers, or if there could be a boy slayer. And niece looked at him and rolled her eyes and said in a very satisfied tone of voice..."No, the slayer has to be a girl because girls kill vampires best."
And...yeah. A little girl thinks girls kill vampires best. Right on.
Also, she asked me to get her this for her birthday. The amount of enthusiasm in which she explained to me how you get to eat zombie brains was AMAZING. She will probably eat those zombie brains while wearing a sparkly tiara and sharing them with her Barbies. Have I mentioned how much I love this kid?
