Just got back from seeing Spiderman
Right. So there are certain movies of which I require nothing more than that shit blows up. As this is one of those movies, and since shit did, in fact, blow up it met the minimum requirements for me to go YAY! Also, OMG so slashy. Further YAY! But then....THEN.
Anyone who has known me longer than about five seconds is aware of my loserboy fetish right? The more hopelessly dorktastic the better as far as I'm concerned. And y'know...Peter Parker is already strutting on the wrong side of cool enough for me to "AWWWWW" at him to start with. And now I am convinced that everyone involved in this movie? Sat down and had a meeting in which they discussed how best to set me off in fits of grabby glee at him. There were almost certainly flow charts of my brain involved. Because I can think of no other explanation for the ultimate Emo Dark Side Loserboy Walk of Shame than that it was MADE FOR ME.

merryish rolled her eyes in my direction hard enough that I heard them even before she leaned over and whispered "stop falling in love with him right *now*" and then sighed and gave up completely as he just kept getting MORE losertastic with every passing second.
