OMG, that was so ADORABLE. And weird. ADORABLY WEIRD. (OMG, the hair. The clown suit.) So bouncily, adorably, weirdly awesome :D

OMG this was EPIC! Holy shit, that's quite a lot of shenanigans and growing up and more shenanigans and romance and bonus shenanigans for one season of television, let alone one vid! Way to carry it off with style and ADORABLOSITY! (It's a word because I insist with LauraIngallsian tenacity that it should be so.)

OH. MY. GOD. It is like a thing that I didn't know I needed in my life until it was there, and now I know that I REALLY DO NEED IT IN MY LIFE! I have to show my sister; she was obsessed with LHotP when we were kids.

Eee, so cute! (Although holy crap age difference; how did I not see it when I was a kid?) This made my day. Thanks for sharing!

Okay, I've never even seen the show and that was RIDICULOUSLY cute.

Well... until I was 10 or 11, I was only allowed to watch PBS, Saturday morning cartoons, and (occasionally) the Muppet show. By the time I was allowed to watch other TV, I had become a book snob and wasn't interested. So for all practical purposes my TV-watching ends with 321 Contact and then restarts in 1995 with The X-Files. (Although I did occasionally catch fragments of Cagney and Lacey, which my mom watched.)

I know, I know. [personal profile] renenet and I are occasionally baffled that we can even communicate across the vast lacunae in my pop culture exposure.

The Bloodhound Gang! Hee.

And I read the Little House series many, many times. I owned about 25 books as a kid, and those were nine of them. :D

Eeee! SO ADORABLE!! I have only the vaguest recollection of this series, based on the books, but this vid is adorable! And then it got sad. And then it got happy again! \o/ YAY!

Cuuuute.

They took a turn for the super angsty near the end there and I was almost worried the dude would die when he had the fever (cuz they almost always do!) But they recovered and it was happily ever after, yay! \o/

Also, loved the editing and the song choice so very much.

I have watched this vid with such joy, so many times, that I can't even tell you! I loved the books as a kid, and watched the show sporadically, but I always rooted for Laura. When she got her Manny in the end, it was like a victory for all of us pining girls. *grin*

Fabulous, charming, splendiferous job here - I look forward to watching it many more times.

Little House was my very first fandom, in a way, and this made me smile so, so much. Go Laura!

This is so adorable! When I watched Little House as a pre-teen, I was not a fan of the "mushy stuff" but now I loved seeing Laura's persistence and the hilarity and drama of this cute romance.

sending love

I love the beginning and the end shot with the name in a heart in a tree, that is a great choice of visual,
I heard of the source but never saw it but this filled me with love this love for this spunky little girl, (wanting so much, doing stupid stuff as people do, and how that is just how it is - against this thing that is often in fandom to unessary hate on female characters).
The "say say you never loved me" with her acting out in anger and then ending with this little forhead kiss etc and falling back into places - i just love the flow of it.
My heart sang for the "I can climp up a mountain part, she is sucessing! she is studying! and how it goes on with her going out in the world on her own (This remained me of Anne from Green Gables and Topanga from Boy meets World (that fanvideo "curiosity" and also my personal headcanons for her) - in a good way, the main association of many people may be "romance" and it is focus here too (and thats okay and great too!) but it is not all they are, and its nice to see their perspective and how it is part of their growth and not them being an acressoir (i am bad at words but !! i love this)
