SHE DID. So she could both sabotage his date *and* kiss him under her secret clown identity.

I had *so* much fun. This may be one of the most angst free vid making processes I have ever had. 'Cause every time I'd start to get twisted up I'd look at the source and go ::FLAILYGLEEHANDS::

Although holy crap age difference
HEE, YES. The age difference is...I was rewatching and vidding in pure nostalgic glee while simultaneously going o.O

Though I am kind of boggled right now because we are the same age, so I have no idea how Little House reruns were not a part of your childhood. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?

I know, I know.

Your pop culture gaps do not usually phase me anymore, it was just...Little House. Did you read the books at least? :D

And I read the Little House series many, many times. I owned about 25 books as a kid, and those were nine of them. :D

They took a turn for the super angsty near the end there and I was almost worried the dude would die when he had the fever (cuz they almost always do!) But they recovered and it was happily ever after, yay! \o/
Also, loved the editing and the song choice so very much.

And he almost did die! But Laura nursed him back to health WITH LOVE when she found out he gave himself pneumonia hauling ice (IN THE RAIN) so he could secretly pay the rent for her sister's blind school, even though he thought she didn't love him anymore.
*collapses into pile of glee*

sending love
I heard of the source but never saw it but this filled me with love this love for this spunky little girl, (wanting so much, doing stupid stuff as people do, and how that is just how it is - against this thing that is often in fandom to unessary hate on female characters).
The "say say you never loved me" with her acting out in anger and then ending with this little forhead kiss etc and falling back into places - i just love the flow of it.
My heart sang for the "I can climp up a mountain part, she is sucessing! she is studying! and how it goes on with her going out in the world on her own (This remained me of Anne from Green Gables and Topanga from Boy meets World (that fanvideo "curiosity" and also my personal headcanons for her) - in a good way, the main association of many people may be "romance" and it is focus here too (and thats okay and great too!) but it is not all they are, and its nice to see their perspective and how it is part of their growth and not them being an acressoir (i am bad at words but !! i love this)
