absolutedestiny for showing me the first episode of Avatar, because then I went and ended up marathoning the whole series, which just kept getting more awesome and more AWESOME and then MORE AWESOME, concluding with a whole HEAPING PILE OF AWESOME. And it's all wrapped up in this absolutely adorable package that is deceptive in it's 'oh, look at me, I am a really cute cartoon!' until it sneaks up and wallops you in the back of the head. I LOVE IT SO MUCH Y'ALL. Highly recommended, dudes. And, y'know, I didn't think it was possible for me to be more angry or disgusted with the absolute racist fail of the movie casting, but having now seen the source in question, I have found that I do, indeed, have even more gobsmacked incandescent rage in me to give, because seriously? SERIOUSLY? That is the story they are casting with white actors? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? Sometimes I hate this world. A lot.
Oh! Happy Valentines day to all of you celebrating, and forget I just said anything if you're not. I'm choosing to spend this day with Hugh, catching up on Flashpoint, which I've been meaning to do for awhile now. Because if you can't be with the one you love, obsessively fangirl the AWESOME musician/actor you're in deep platonic crush with. What? I'm pretty sure that's how the song goes. And if I'm feeling up to it later today, my present for him will be to start on the creepy vid about his other show in which the line between him and a serial killer gets really fuzzy. It was that or sending a heart shaped box of chocolate, which would just be too disturbing.
