Have watched, some thoughts behind the cut,
Okay, so OMG Rory is precious, can we keep him? He is adorably loserish in that Made For Eunice sort of way, but also, you guys...did you notice that his response to aliens and time travel and giant eyeballs in the sky was to essentially Google it? <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 He researched. Which is not surprising considering when we met him, his response to mysterious coma patients walking around the village was to document them. He's not naturally adventury like Amy or the Doctor, but he is naturally curious, and independently follows up on that curiosity, which is a pretty damn awesome thing to be an a nice balance.
Also, I have a massive soft spot for friendship romances, which is what I think Rory/Amy is. They are besties with punches on the arm and when they were little she came up with the best games and he looked up all the details to round them out and when it came time to climb that tree over there and swing from it he followed, and he got why she was up there, even if he did kinda worry she was going to fall out and break her arm. Apply that to beyond puberty, and you can guess what I think they got up to, how they got together, why it works, and how I think those two kids are gonna be just fine. Amy needed to run, but it wasn't Rory she was running from. There was a tree. She had to swing from it. And then save him from a vampire. Scuse me while I smish them together and draw some sparkly hearts.
Dear Eleventy, if I did not love you before you would have won my heart FOREVER for finally being self-aware at how destructive and dangerous it is to allow your companions to cut themselves off, to think of a time and life outside the TARDIS as worthless or lesser, to lose sight of the value of the people important to you, and the entire life ahead of you. And for actively trying to fix it. THANK YOU. I'm not worried anymore. Well, I'm worried about a lot of things...cracks in the universe, silence following, strange dates and times and duck ponds without ducks. I'm not, however, worried you'll abandon Rory or isolate Amy, and that makes me very happy. As happy as Amy being all 'who said I wanted mortgages and time babies with you?' last week. Please to feel free to engage in all the happy naked funtimes with both of them you want. You know you want to. I'll take pictures. We might need diagrams to keep everything straight when River comes back. I am okay with that.
Might have more thoughts later, but for now, I'm breathing out a pretty huge sigh of relief. And sad it is not possible to reach through my tv screen and tousle Rory's hair. It needs tousling! *cuddles him*
::re-reads post and facepalms:: Hi, my name is Eunice, and I ship therefore I am. I CANT HELP IT. It's what I do.

I hadn't thought about it like that, but you're right! No wonder I love him so much. <3
Also, I agree with every single word of the "Dear Eleventy" paragraph. And I very much approve of everyone having happy naked funtimes. OTEverybody Forever! <3
