I am about to spend my day watching season 9 of Smallville. Now, I have not actually watched this show since the first season. We parted on amicable terms with me going "Yes, you're very pretty, but we have nothing in common, Superman is really not my thing, and this just isn't going to work out, but I'll see you in vids!"

I am assured however that season 9 is a thing unto itself that I will quite enjoy and that I need not watch the rest to have fun. So I'm going in! And I won't lie, the prospect of getting to know the Lois I have been drooling over in vids for quite some time is rather exciting. So, yay!

...here I go. Huh, the only superhero icon I have is Spiderman. Is it bad form to use it? Like does the universe explode if you get Marvel in your D.C. Lets find out! (disclaimer: use of this icon on this post is only to express my approval for the general concept of 'superhero' and in no way should be taken to mean that I think Spiderman is better than Superman, even if I am sekritly thinking it)

*cough*

Okay, two episodes and I am indeed both entertained and intrigued by this season of Smallville. Lois is both as awesome and as hot as advertised. And there needs to be mortal enemy hate sex with Tess. That is possibly just me. Still love Chloe. Clark standing on rooftops brooding is entertaining for entirely different reasons (am I supposed to laugh this hard? Whatever, I APPROVE). Also, I would like to make my new catchphrase KNEEL BEFORE ZOD, only I'm not entirely sure how one works that into casual conversation. Yeah, why did none of you tell me about Zod? Clearly, you have never met me. Sheesh.

Yeah, I'm in.
