OMG, YAY! Festivids nominations are open!
My excitement can barely be contained! If, for some reason, you live on the moon and missed my tendency to squeal at high volume and flail around like a muppet for the last two years...Festivids is a rare fandom vid exchange (like Yuletide for vidders), and it is AWESOME, you guys. And you should totally sign up in October when it's time. And go nominate in anticipation of that.
Seriously, go look at the list of stuff that's been nominated so far. It's like a recipe for sheer awesome, and since nominations are still open it could get even awesomer if you throw in. And, okay, look you might be reading this and hesitating. Don't! You guys, the minimum vid length requirement is a minute long and there are a ton of safety fandoms (120 minutes or less of source footage) you could offer for. A one minute vidlet using movie source? You can totally do that. You can do more if you're up to it, no one says no to moar festivids. My point is to get in on the fun you don't have to. And it's exciting!
Come play! There's gotta be some tiny fandom that you would just love to have your very own vid for, made for you. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
