Greetings from the middle of nowhere! I have internet of sorts, though somewhat limited. Packed most of my stuff in the RV and after a day in Wisconsin spent two days driving here and today getting the RV set up for long term living on account of the cottage I will be living in will not be built until spring. It will be an adventure, this next few months. I am not particularly happy about not really having tv, or enough bandwidth to download/stream shows and whatnot, but I'm figuring out some workarounds now (and good friends planning to send me stuff). The DSL will be put in at the same time as my house is being built, and the satellite hookup.

Cats are still with me, sharing the RV for the time being (and if you know anyone in Colorado willing to give them a good home, holler). The trip was quite the adventure for them. Well, quite the adventure for Spike. Abby figured out relatively quickly how to squeeze in behind the couch and gain access to the storage area underneath. While this led to a great deal of panicked searching of the tiny trailer while she no doubt snickered from her most excellent hiding place...it also meant she did not get into too much trouble.

Spike...lets see. He made a break for it in Nebraska...his freedom dash was about three feet before he panicked, turned back and dove *under* the RV, requiring much coaxing to pull him out. Later a microwave nearly fell on him while he was doing his business in the litter box, causing both our hearts to stop and learn the value of *triple* checking how well things are secured. And, after arriving here he managed to nearly get eaten by the dogs.

Meanwhile, Abby has been giving him looks that clearly convey that he is a dumbass for not securely parking himself in the nearest small hidey hole until this fresh hell ends like her. And then glaring at me for providing said fresh hell. I am partially forgiven now that she has discovered the comfy bed above the cab, which is a single leap from the couch and suits her quite nicely. Well, and now that she is starting to believe the new house won't start moving again. I think we will survive until proper homes are found for them.

More, but I am kind of exhausted. Am here. Rest will follow.

I've been thinking about you all week. Glad you all made it okay (including Spike!). And as much as I don't like the thought of you without reliable internet and TV, I am SO GLAD to hear that there are plans in the works to provide you with both.

*hugs*

I'm glad you (and the cats!) arrived safely. ::massive hugs::

I can send you stuff! Let me know what TV you want and I will see if I have it/can get it. I will cheerfully burn and mail you things.
