HIIIIIIIIIIIIII, I CAN HAS INTERNETS!!! NEVER LEAVE ME AGAIN

*falls on digitial ground and kisses it*

So, um, we can blame festivids. Well, and Verizon for not bothering to *check* and figure out there was a suspension on the account for excessive bandwidth. Which is stupid because the bill was entirely paid, including the overage. I guess there is some automatic switch which suspends or something I don't even know, I wasn't paying that close attention once 'we can lift that and get your internet back in about five minutes' ...which came after hyperventilating when everything else under the sun did not work, including going to the verizon store, whose idea of help was to shrug and tell us the modem was working fine, dunno what's wrong. Thank god for whatshisname on the tech help line who was the FIRST person to actually, y'know, CHECK (I guess because the account was in good standing, no one bothered to think it might be suspended).

That was really rambly, but I AM BACK, BABY. And I now have to be even more careful about my bandwidth, 'cause the dude told me that although my festivids watching pushed things over the edge, I've been over every month even though I've been *super* careful. Not careful enough, it seems. I guess 5 gb doesn't go very far at all :(

I LOVE YOU GUYS

Yay, you're back! *twirls you*

Argh about the bandwidth thing though. I guess there's no way to get a higher limit? And for that matter, can they email you or something when you start to get close so you don't go over? I don't really know how these things work, but you'd think there'd be some way for them to let you know how much you're using.

Ahaha, I see. Though pop-ups are the most annoying way to notify someone of something, so I don't blame you for turning it off. Weird they suspended the account though- I always thought companies wanted people to go over their limits so they could charge more. Though possibly that's just terribly cynical of me.

*twirls you some more for good measure*

My first thought about that was "darn technology!" My second was "oh no, the computers are becoming sentient! But why would they take my Eunice away!? They're truly evil!"

God, what an ordeal. I'm glad you're back, though! I missed you! ::clings:: INTERNETS, NEVER TAKE MY EUNICE AWAY AGAIN.

Speaking of Festivids, if you can upload those files at some point in the next few days, that'd be great. No pressure.

Absolutely, tomorrow would be great. Even Friday would be fine. That gives me plenty of time to make alternate arrangements if I have to.

If I can't show your vid I'm going to pretend like it's there anyway, because that's what's right and proper.

Welcome back! And ugh, 5Gb is a tiny limit if you're watching vids.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY.

Oh my dear, we really have to return to our mountain hideaway so you can jiggle my door and blow through as much bandwith as you want.

*halo*

PS. Requested days off, got them. Must make reservations. *goes to do so*

Yay, I'm so glad you're back online!! \o/

OTOH, GAAAAHHHHHHH, stupid bandwidth limits! And pardon me for sounding dumb, but isn't your account being "in good standing" and "suspended" sort of, well, contradictory? WTF, VERIZON??!

JFC, you'd think seeing that an account was suspended or terminated or whatever would be obvious as soon as they pulled it up, like in big red letters at the very top of the first info screen! Especially if it's something that's done as an automatic response to a customer's activity, rather than manually, by an actual human being. And you know this HAS to have happened before, because no way are you the first of their millions of customer to ever use more than their allowed bandwidth, so not only does their software suck, their training clearly sucks, too.

*hugs you, just because*
