So, I'm ripping and scrubbing through ALL of Buffy, 'cause I've decided to finally do a BtVS vid I've been wanting to do for years, probably end up being for Premieres this year.
And, you guys, I love this show. I'm working on season 7 right now, and though I know there's a lot of...dissatisfaction with the later seasons, I dunno. I still love it, and love it hard. All of it, really, even the much maligned season 6. There are shows that I have gotten frustrated with and thought went on too long and suffered for it. Buffy is just not one of them for me. I finished out the last season satisfied with the run of the show and how it ended, and I remain so. Whatever issues I may have had along the way are more than heavily outweighed by how much I love these people and this world.
I flit around to a lot of different sources and fandoms and whatever, but there are very few shows of my heart. Buffy, Doctor Who, Homicide. And god, it's good to spend some time with old friends right now. Whatever anyone says, 'Are you ready to be strong?' will never fail to cause me to simultaneously burst into tears and yell FUCK YEAH at the same time.
