So, I just watched the first Deathly Hallows movie with the kiddies...and holy crap that was depressing. It's like...they didn't even just remove the more lighthearted parts, but also anything that even symbolized hope. So it was all death, death, despair, angst, abandonment, more angst, and a death chaser.
