Dear internet friends,

Do you like:

1. Damn near canonical(if not actual) OT3s
2. Slick action sequences
3. Kickass women
4. Loveable goofballs

If you have answered yes to more than one of these questions and have not yet seen Once A Thief, YOU ARE MISSING OUT. I know this because up until two days ago I was missing out. And having now seen 7 episodes my primary response to this show is WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!?!?

I just...I spend half the time saying out loud 'Did that just happen? Really?' and the other half squeeing at pitches only heard by the dogs when I answer myself 'Yes, yes it did.' It's a damn good thing I do have my house now because this would be downright embarrassing if there were witnesses.

Right now I can't decide if I am more in love with Li Ann or with Mac, so I've decided I should have both. Which means I get Vic by default on account of either one of them would be incomplete without him, and I'm okay with that because although I do not love him quite as much as Li Ann or Mac, that is like saying I love chocolate chip cookies more than cake. True, but if you put a slice of cake in front of me I'm gonna be like VIC! ahem...I mean CAKE!

HOLY SHIT, THIS SHOW. Why are there not 8 billionty seasons? Why is there only one? And what will I do once I've seen all the episodes? Other than, y'know, watch them again.

Just checking because this will be important later: what source have you got it from? Because there was an original Canadian ending to the series and another ending for American syndication and the Canadian DVDs which were released this summer actually have both endings, which is good, because they are um, DIFFERENT.

I got mine from Tara and there is a file marked 'alternate ending' so I assume I have both :D

It also has John Woo - not so much in the show as directing it. This was his first job after leaving Hong Kong.
