sweetestdrain and then forgot I had? Point being that I have all of X-Files sitting here, and since I have not seen it in years and years and years and years, and a lot of the episodes I only ever saw once...I am in the process of a rewatch starting at season 1.
It's actually kind of awesome, because while I remember major arc points and character stuff...a lot of the plot of the week stuff, I don't remember the details at all so it's almost like new tv with familiar characters.
That is not the point of this post. The point of this post is reaching the episode where Scully's dad dies and half way through Mulder starts lecturing her that if her unresolved emotional issues with her father are interfering with her work and causing her to believe in psychics then maybe she should back off. MULDER SAID THIS. MULDER. He of grab cases from supermarket tabloid headlines because alien abducted sister. My jaw dropped for reals. And then I had to run to the internet so I could type out the following:
Mulder, you are such a dickbag. How did I not remember just how much of a dickbag you are? Just 'cause you are entertaining and stuff, doesn't mean I don't also want to punch you in the face a lot. Love, Eunice.
