So...HI! I have pretty much been sulking like a three year old this last little while and avoiding anything resembling contact with other human beings. This may have gone on even longer, but I was rescued in the form of AJ taking her birthday trip to the wilds of Colorado. And even though the death cold from hell felled us both and prevented much actual going and doing anything at all, it turns out the thing I was avoiding (contact with other human beings) was exactly what I needed to kick me out of my funk. <3 <3 <3
We did manage to see Avengers before the full force of plague descended, and what else is there to say about that than \o/ \o/ \o/. I shall put my brief and shallow thoughts about this behind a cut, because although they are not particularly spoilery, I may not be the last person in the universe to have seen it . Basically my reaction can be summed up in three short sentences:
1. Natasha wins everything ever to the end of time, and if there is not a Black Widow movie forthcoming I will CRY FOREVER.
2. STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVE. Wait, I can be more coherent than that about my feelings here. No. I can't. STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVE.
3. Tony/Bruce 4EVAH!! <3 <3 <3. Which, if you had told me before I walked in the theater that this would be the ship I'd walk out with, I would have given you a puzzled look. Now I can't see how it could be anything else. I am told I am not alone in this.
Also, there was a Life marathon so I have now seen all of that and very much enjoyed it. I could pretty much watch Dani's reaction shots forever. Seriously, best 'what the shit?' face in the history of the universe. And also she is just all around awesome. Charlie...just, fuck you Damain Lewis for being so amazing. It isn't fair. I'm not even going to talk about how much I love you because I'm busy pouting about your unfair advantage over my heart. Also, Ted is my Life woobie and requires about a billion hearts to fully express my love.
What else? Um, blah blah still running financial aid hoops, still scheduled to get sliced open in a month. Whatever. That's depressing. How about a game rec? If you are a lover of the point and click adventure game and you have not yet played The Book Of Unwritten Tales you really need to. It is ridiculous amounts of fun and my only complaint is that I wanted more (which is an unfair complaint because the game is actually nice and long with multiple chapters and locations and everything...just, I didn't want it to be over).
I guess that is all for this update. The thought of attempting to catch up on LJ/DW is giving me hives and panic attacks so I will probably not be attempting to go back. If I missed anything important plz to be linking me? I think I am back now.
