Er...I have clips down on a festivid treat. Well, I also offered for the source so it's possible I'll get matched on it, in which case I have a pretty healthy head start. Part of me feels super guilty about this given the auction vid situation, but I have been able to get zero momentum on any of them (I do have timelines and everything), while I've got a nice flow going right now on this one and I'm kind of having a ridiculously good time with [redacted] even if it is way too early to be in the land of redacted posts.

It is possible just getting something going at all will kickstart all the stalled vids, I certainly hope so.

LOL, we are clearly twins, because I've done the same thing! I've offered [source] but also know someone I can give it to as a treat, which is a goal for this year, so either way I'm ahead of the 8-ball.

Of course, it wouldn't be Festivids without my annual song crisis. The song I've picked is so obvious that I suspect there will be about 5 vids to the same one come reveal day, and there is in fact a YouTube vid to it already, but it's very badly done. I do have an alternate song I could use, which I am sure nobody would pick, but I'm not sure about it. Maybe I'll have time to do both, see which comes out better. The source is currently in red meaning lots of people have requested it.

Don't feel guilty about Festividding - given the effect it's had on you in the past, I'm sure it's an excellent way to get you kick-started on your other vids!
