Abyss is SO difficult but amazing to watch for similar reasons. And it's why Jack's reaction to the breeze they all feel at the end of Revelations just breaks me.
Those characters are still some of my favorite, ever. ♥ And the cool thing about rewatching is that I've usually forgotten so much, it's almost like watching for the first time.
