I finally sat down and watched this season of Who (including the xmas special). I worried when I was basically avoiding watching this season at all for so long that maybe I had stopped loving Who as fiercly, or that I was losing interest, or...something. I can report to you now, that was not true. What was actually true is that by not watching I could avoid losing my Ponds, and that when I was ready to accept saying goodbye I was able to fall back into this world I love so much with all the feelings in the world. Because saying goodbye, and then hello is how it all works. Just ask the Doctor.

I've had to grieve the departure of the Ponds (Poooooonds! <3 <3 <3) but I loved the Christmas special, and I'm quite looking forward to the rest of the season.

oh yayyyyy, welcome back! I'm glad you enjoyed them.

(3 months later, I am still not really over the Ponds, like, at all? But I loved the new episode to teeny tiny pieces, so that helps. <333)

I stopped watching for the same reason (so not ready to say goodbye!), but you're right, the way everything changes is the whole point. I think I need to start watching again. :)
