Excellent day, yesterday. Got out of the house for the first time in...weeks, because [livejournal.com profile] taraljc took me along on her adventures. I got to see Gosford Park, which was as awesome as Tara had been telling me, and Bright Young Things which was just....weird (note to David Tennant: pumpkin, you are adorable no matter what, but please never grow a mustache again, ever, for anything, I would very much appreciate it, thank you). The day also included me actually buying a new bra (that even *fits*) for the first time in...forever. I kind of hate wearing a bra, and avoid it whenever possible, but seeing as how I'll be out and about soon with Chicago TARDIS coming up, I reckon it's better not to scare the kiddies and all the new fans I get to meet.

OMG YAY CON. I actually have never been to a con outside of Vividcon, so this will be a brand new experience for me, and I am very much looking forward to meeting y'all who are going. It is very possible that when I do, I may be standing slightly behind [livejournal.com profile] taraljc with a total deer in the headlights look on my face. Translated this means, "Hi! I'm very glad to meet you!" For identification purposes I'm the short one with the shaved head and glasses.

I am now officially behind on all my tv, however I'm wondering if it's maybe a good idea to keep letting it all pile up, so that when the writer's strike means no more new TV at all, I will have plenty built up to entertain myself with. For a media fan I am remarkably suck at actually *watching* TV.

Watcha all up to? Anything thrilling?
