I am going to start trying to keep up with LJ again now. Got two of the drains out on Wednesday and about half the staples. One drain left to go which is supposed to come out for sure this week along with the rest of the staples. And I meet with the oncologist on Monday, where I hope I'll get an idea of when chemo will be starting, and if I'll need a port or not.
In fannish news I did watch the newest Doctor Who today and my entire reaction can be summed up as FLAILY HANDS OF GLEE OMG I LOVED THAT A LOT. It made me ridiculously happy, though I doubt I'll meta about it. But I loved it.
In non-fannish news, those of you who have met my cats know that Abby has a serious tangling problem with the way her fur is (it knots badly and constantly), and Spike sheds so much he practically leaves an entire cat behind him everywhere he walks. I finally decided they would both have to sacrifice a bit of dignity to make quality of life more pleasant for all three of us, and today they were shaved. They look as silly as you would expect shaved cats to look, and I am probably not helping their kitty self-esteem much by continually bursting into giggles at them.
