Home with Abby and a huge sigh of relief. Urinary tract infection, made more uncomfortable by the fact that the fur on her rear end kept getting peed on and was irritating her skin. but all her bloodwork and the rest of her physical exam were tip top. Since they were shaving her butt anyway, they went ahead and gave her the spring haircut early. We have antibiotics and a painkiller, and now that the wet fur is gone and she's had some pain relief she looks happier than I've seen her in days, except for the part where she thinks her shaved haircut is an affront to her dignity.

*breathes out*

Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to get her to actually *take* her pills. Heh.
