Given that River Song has long since been declared a "Mary Sue" because she has a graduate degree, I honestly do not understand why any of this surprises anyone. But you know what, seriously, whatever. I love this show again and if they don't it's not my problem, just like the epic whining about Uhura didn't make a jot of difference in how much I loved ST:AOS. More for us!
