The Free Hugs thing is still making me feel all warm and fuzzy. And it led me to wondering how our fictional characters might react to running into a free hugs campaign.
Like, maybe John Sheppard would probably be deeply uncomfortable and a bit panicky and trip over something in order to get away as quickly as possible. And Rodney would march over intent on arguing what a deeply stupid and pointless idea it was, but somehow end up getting hugged anyway, and then walk away simultaneously feeling kind of pleased but annoyed at being pleased and then he'd be extra snarky for the rest of the day to cover up how much he liked getting hugged.
Or, say One wouldn't even notice the guy except for when he accidentally knock hims down on the way to look at something else, but he might go back and apologize after Barbara read him the riot act....while Ten would get a big dopey grin on his face and swoop in for a full body, spin hug, borrow the sign for a few hours and then later on that night write "Doctor+Humans 4Evah!!!" in his diary, surrounded by little hearts.
