OT3, make porn not war

Yay! pipsqueaky and I got to meet up with greensilver this morning, who is absolutely adorable and who I do not see nearly enough of. Sweet Charity is now at $9,500 and climbing. Watching the pink sparkly number go up and up and up is addicting. Yay!

So, apparently there is a big nasty 'shipwar brewing in Torchwood land? Jack/Ianto vs. Jack/Gwen? People, have I taught you nothing?!? This one is easy. Ianto/Jack/Gwen. There you go. Sorted. Hell, you don't even have to stretch the canon that a threesome could happen. Now, in addition to squeeing and clapping your hands when you get your pairing in a scene, what you do every time a scene happens that threatens your pairing? You just add "and then they went and had sex with (Ianto or Gwen depending on your OTP)" in your head. Your squee will remain bulletproof if you do this. I promise. The power of the OT3 is mighty. Who wants to play a game with me? You do, because I'm still hormonally challenged and if you don't I will go curl up in a corner and cry about how none of you like me. Just so you know.

It works like this. Everyone has 'ships they don't like. Perhaps it's as simple as it just interferes with your OTP, or maybe you even have serious reasons to think, "I can't understand how anyone could like that, yuck." Except people do like that. And they can't all be complete idiots, psychos, or horrible people. So here's the challenge. Pick one (or more) of these 'ships and think of something that is interesting or attractive or compelling about it. Be creative! Among the many reasons that 'ship just sucks to you, pick one why it doesn't. Any fandom, currently active or not. Then share with me. You game? Remember the part where you'll make me cry if you don't? You don't want to make me cry, do you? Seriously, I bought three bags of candy yesterday and I'm not afraid to use them.

I'll go first (Torchwood for me, because obviously I have recently been hooked like a fish on a line). Owen/Tosh does not entirely suck because they do both have so many shared experiences that can't really be translated outside team Torchwood, and having a partner that actually understands what it's like to face down a blowfish on crack is rather comforting I imagine.
