(no subject)

So, Zen and I have acquired a groupie and the best word to describe him is preciousOMG. He is all of 24 years old with artfully tousled hair, when he isn't wearing the baseball cap (which becomes AWESOME in a minute). See, several weeks ago he was walking by our room while I was playing Guitar Hero, and it was like a siren call,. And then he took to stopping by even though he doesn't actually work on the cancer floor, and I'm in a different room every time He is the sort who will use the word dude without irony, and he loves us and our Guitar Hero.

Today he went from being mildly precious, to so insanely adorable that Zen and I were making high pitched squeaky noises by the time he left. See, he discovered that I had brought the Metallica version. Which he didn't know about. Which led to him bouncing with excitement over the song list. Which led to him making big puppy dog eyes about playing, and him making a beeline to our room the second he got off shift.


That's when the magic happened, and our groupie stood in the middle of the room, turned his baseball cap backwards (told you it got awesome), and then proceeded to rock the fuck out, singing along loudly, jumping, swinging the guitar around, finishing up with rocker poses. I just. I want to adopt him and keep him forever. I really don't have words for the level of adorable that happened here.
