I'm still kind of randomly tearing up hours later. There were just these moments of....*truth* in this that...::FLAIL::
Was talking to calapine about this, that the 'piles of good' speech might be one of my favoritest things pretty much ever on tv. Because it's right. And it was like, there was Eleven GETTING IT, getting this thing that is so hard to explain. And shit, I'm going to start crying again. Because how on earth a fictional character who is not even real (and I REALLY WISH HE WAS) could make me feel like I was being understood. Yeah.
I swear, this season. If it keeps this up, the whole is going to be even greater than the sum of its parts (which are pretty damn amazing to me individually too) and it may just go down as my favorite season of television, of, like, everything I've ever watched (and I have watched and loved a LOT of television, including series of this very show)
I'm kind of amazed at that. I know I'm all pollyanna Tigger about my fannish stuff in general but, really? I thought even I was too cynical and not young enough anymore to have this ever happen again.
