I will be catching up on comments soon. No idea when I'll be catching up with my freinds/reading list. Things which are TOTALLY AWESOME today:
1. My recliner. I feel like writing it a song. I'd make out with it but the cats love it too and that would just end in a mouth full of cat hair. I think I will settle for promising never to leave it again. Also, my computer chair which ended up not being the most expensive of the lot but which really works for me and allows me to vid. Leading us to,
2a. I finished a full draft of the Zod vid the day before Vividcon and it is really close to done. I am going to let it sit for awhile since I can avoid the whole quest to acquire logoless source (seriously CW, what the everloving fuck?) by waiting for the DVDs to release so I have plenty of time to chill and come back to it.
2b. As of yesterday I finally have started laying clips down for the Tess/Zod vid. Despite managing to disturb the hell out of myself, being friends with![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
sweetestdrain and sisabet means I will never be the sickest fuck in the room, therefore I feel better about exploring my apparent kink for violent power plays and throat grabbing. Even when it ends badly. Maybe especially when it ends badly.
2c. This is the first time I've made two vids so close together that draw from many of the same pool of clips. Is an interesting challenge, and I'm not sure it isn't going to end in repetition of the boring, hey didn't we just see that, sort. We shall see how that works out. Advice/tips/tricks from those of you who regularly visit the same well appreciated. There are scenes I know I want/need in both vids, though perhaps with different emphasis and cut differently. Okay, really I just want an excuse for as much throat grabbing as possible. THAT IS VALID, RIGHT?
3. And on a different note, OMG one of the things I am genuinely super excited about the move is that I getmresundance living within driving distance of me. Hopefully he will not put me in the stalker category for being like OMG CAN I KEEP YOU all weekend long, but OMG CAN I KEEP HIM? Wait, that came out kind of creepy after point 2. No throat grabbing involved, swear. Possibly extreme cuddling? Which...

For all that I collapsed into a fit of whining post VVC I really did have an awesome time with all of you, and I am still in the afterglow of remembering just how much Vividcon means to me and why. Y'all are my people and having a place where I can talk about vids and vidding and fannish stuff in real life and not be weird and I won't ever get over how much everyone at VVC makes an effort to be inclusive and make sure there is always a place to sit down and feel welcome joining in conversations or having someone to eat with and even when you're just passing on the elevator or in the halls and you don't really know each other there is the mutual glance to the badge and the grin of OMG HI, WE ARE AT VVC! and the whole being out in the world thing is just easier there. *draws sparkly hearts all over you guys*
