I. Yes. THAT. THANK YOU! Thank you Moffat for this season which is now officially one of my all time favorite seasons of any tv ever. I wish I could be smart and thinky and wordy about this, but all I can think is THANK YOU.

Pretty much the only downside is having to wait until Christmas. Guess I'll just have to rewatch this season a billion times while I wait. I am okay with that. And I think when I can I will go back to the Eleventy Project and do the vids for the eps I missed. If only so I can spend more time here. With them.

I'm feeling strange, honestly. I'm not used to this, getting what I wanted. And it is mine now and I get to keep it and that would be enough except there is even more on the way.

My show. MINE! MY SHOW! MY ELEVENTY! MY AMY! MY RORY! MY RIVER! MIIIIIIIIIIIINE!

I...seriously, I'm feeling weirdly subdued. Not because I am not so fucking happy, but because I am. That is what I wanted. I hoped for this, that the entire season would end up being what I thought it was, what I wanted it to be as a whole. I just didn't really believe I would get it.

But we did. There it is.

I sort of felt like that right after I watched. Like, I couldn't quite believe how perfect it was? But the more I think about it the more amazed and enthralled squee-y I get. I'm almost about to cry just thinking about how happy I am about it.

And, I think I scared my neighbors at one point 'cause when Amy stood up and brought him BACK and the TARDIS started to phase in, um, I may have embarrassed myself a bit?

Because I kind of actually jumped up from my chair and shouted YES! YES! YES! and then burst into tears?

Whatever, when the Blackhawks won there were people setting off fireworks and howling drunkenly outside my window. They can just deal with me doing the same for Eleventy (I only *wish* I had fireworks)

I'm so glad there was no one here when I was watching, because I'm sure I would've been embarrassed if anyone saw me during that part. If anyone tries to claim Moffat can't do emotions after this I'm going to laugh in their face (not that I didn't think it was ridiculous before, of course). I don't remember the last time a show has effected me this strongly, and I say that as someone who gets choked up all the time by all sorts of things. <3

I seriously don't even have words anymore for what this season meant to me. I think am most definitely going to finish out the Eleventy Project (even though not in real time as I'd originally planned). Because I love it that much, and I want acknowledge every last episode.

Is it just me or does that selection of pictures imply that first Rory and Amy got married...and then they married the Doctor? Which is kind of exactly what happened. :D :D :D :D

It was just...A Who season finale in which everyone not only lives but comes out better than they were before, and the Doctor gets to fly off to the stars with a smile on his face and his companions by his side on their WEDDING NIGHT (ahem, and we all know what that means, at least we do if our minds are as dirty as mine)

Oh, honey. I am so happy for you, you don't even know. And if anyone had any doubts that Moffat shares your prediliction for OT3s, the River/Amy look at the wedding and the "snog in the shrubbery" line had better lay them to rest. Moffat *can* be subtle, but... sometimes he chooses not to be.

I know how much this season has meant to you, especially in the wake of the frustrations of the last couple of seasons, and completely aside from my own joy in the show, I am thrilled to pieces that this show you love so much has finally given you what you want in a way that doesn't need fixing or handwaving. ♥

EVERYBODY LIVES! Both Rory and Amy are still traveling with the Doctor! The Doctor is starting to lust River more than he resents her! They are, in fact, one giant foursome of love in the TARDIS of my mind!

Suddenly finding the idea of River-Rory quite epically hot...

I KNOW OMG. I am always puzzled by people who say Moffat doesn't do emotion. Because I have spent this entire season crying and laughing and loving and being deeply moved and then EVERYBODY LIVES. <3 <3 <3

Mmmmmmmmmmm...River/Rory, YES PLZ.

Rory is surprisingly more versatile than I originally expected ship wise. That kind of steady underlying vibe he has going on surrounded by the chaotic personalities of everyone else...it becomes very easy to imagine any of them going 'That would be a nice place to rest, yes it would. Naked.'

I've been a bit concerned about Rory being the butt of jokes/gooseberry/etc., but he's grown on me a lot and I have some hope that the dynamic will be different now that he's proved to be a hero in his own right.

Huh, I honestly haven't seen the dynamic that way at all. Amy expresses affection through teasing to everyone, not just Rory. And despite the sometimes awkward tension, Eleven has treated Rory with both respect and affection. I've never got the sense that either of them were devaluing him, didn't want him along, or thought he was in any way useless or in the way.

It reminds me way more of the way I'm actually used to expressing and receiving affection from people I care about (ex: sisabet telling everyone at Vividcon I got cancer because I wanted the attention) than it does anything like the exclusion and mocking Mickey faced.

I agree that Amy does that with everyone, and that Eleven treats Rory well. It's more the way the writing has defined him: there's been an air of the ridiculous about some of the scrapes he's got into (I'm thinking about him fighting off the vampire with a broom and so on). Mickey was treated worse by the other characters, no question, but he never did anything that made him look like a buffoon.

Anyway, I am very VERY satisfied with the way things wound up and I can't wait for next season!
